Viewer Accounts

Registration

How viewers create accounts depends on your registration setting:

  • Open — viewers sign up with an email and password on the registration page
  • By approval — viewers register with an email and password, but cannot access the platform until an admin approves their account
  • Invite-only — accounts are created by an admin and an invitation is sent to the viewer
  • Closed — no new accounts can be created

Viewing accounts

Go to Admin → Accounts. Accounts are split into two tabs:

  • Registered — viewers who have completed registration and have access to the platform
  • Pending — accounts that exist but have not yet registered (waiting for an invite to be sent, or awaiting approval)

Click any account to open its detail page.

Account detail

The account detail page shows:

  • Email — the account's email address
  • Role — viewer role
  • Created At — when the account was created
  • Registered At — when the viewer completed registration. Empty if they have not registered yet
  • Deactivated At — when the account was deactivated. Empty if active

Actions available

ActionHow
Send InviteAppears next to Registered At when the account has not registered yet. Sends an invitation email to the address on file
Activate / DeactivateToggles account access. A deactivated account cannot log in; existing sessions are terminated immediately
Delete AccountPermanently removes the account and all associated data

Creating accounts manually

Admins can create accounts directly from Admin → Accounts → Create Account. This is useful in invite-only mode — create the account, then send the invite from the account detail page.

Deactivating an account

A deactivated account cannot log in. The account's data (watchlist, viewing history, profiles) is preserved and restored if the account is reactivated.

Multiple profiles

Viewer accounts support multiple profiles under a single login — useful for family or team accounts. Each profile has its own watchlist and viewing history. Profiles are managed by the viewer from their account settings page.

Password reset

Viewers can request a password reset from the login page. The reset link is valid for a limited time and expires after use.
